Suitable for: Aspirant leaders, subject leaders, middle leaders and class teachers
This workshop is suitable for class teachers and Maths subject leaders and provides an opportunity to collaborate and share best practice. The day will draw on research, best practice and opportunities to observe live teaching in context.
We will consider effective ways to close the gap for more vulnerable pupils, including same day interventions and using pre-teaching as a strategy to enable access for all. We will spend time observing these two practices and evaluating their effectiveness using real case studies.
Participants will have the opportunity to analyse the data for their school setting and how this links with school priorities for the forthcoming year. Drawing on the expertise of our NCETM Mastery specialist we will look at national developments in mastery. Throughout the day there will also be time to reflect and review collaboratively on next steps in your school’s mastery journey.
- Participants will have a range of strategies from classroom observations to take back to their own practice
- Leaders will have effective strategies to develop in their school setting to close the gap for vulnerable pupils
- Leaders will better understand the data priorities for their school
Alliance members will receive a discounted price of £100.00 per delegate.
