Suitable for: Aspirant leaders, subject leaders, middle leaders, class teachers and support staff
This twilight session is a chance for class teachers and LSAs to work together with other schools examining evidence to make a judgement about children’s attainment in Mathematics.
Participants will be expected to work together, looking at evidence from their children to reach a judgement. Facilitation will involve discussion about what mastery looks like and how this differs from greater depth. Participants will be confident in their judgements and be able to take this back to share in their own schools.
- Participants will feel confident in their judgement against end of year objectives
- Participants will feel confident to lead moderation in their year groups back in school
- Participants will have a better idea of what gaps still need to be closed before end of the year and how to deepen understanding for those learners who have already mastered some of these objectives
